Yeah FSX Planner does seem quite good, though I can't seem to get it to connect to FSX, don't seem to have any problem connecting to it through ADE though.

QUOTE (gokanru @ Sep 12 2008, 06:08 AM) The flickering in the cockpit is a known issue with FSX,even with sp2 installed. The fix for that is to turn off tooltips in Fsx.That will get rid of white screen that you get also.In AVsim,in the ms fsx forum,Nick N put out a very good article on how to set up your computer and install FSX properly.I followed his advice to the letter and didn't have a problem.considering that but all the rules my system shouldn't even look at FSX.also there is one thing that you can add to your fsx config file Poolsize=5000000 that 5000000 can be...

That list just sums up for me what my impression is of the style of flying of each of the sims. If you want to fly airliners, you use FS9, if you want to fly GA, you use X. I looked at this list and there isn't a single thing on there I would want to download (for FS9 or X) /laugh.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= laugh.gif /> Where are the Boeings and Airbuses? He says there has been a steady release of new aircraft, but it's all GA.. Even the brand new Posky 777 is released for FS2004. And this was released 3 August 2008. I'm not in the slightest...

I like the animated characters in FSX I think it would be awesome if FS goes the same path as train simulator in this area it might require a fairly high end PC though. The ultimate would be animated deck crew on the carrier.

QUOTE (jetscream @ Aug 10 2008, 01:11 PM) I have another question. I know how to program the approach procedure into the GPS. But how do you go about programming the arrival and departure procedures? Thanks. Easiest way I know of (without an FMC), would be to look at the charts for the airport (all at ) and then plug it into the GPS/Flight Planner manually. Alex

Yes ive just done a search on goggle for them and came up with lots of options for free downloads id try avsim or flightsim .com ,you usally add them to the effects folder and add lines to the cfg of the aircraft like smoke effects or dusting effects apart from those are assigned to a key ,if you search enough you will find them and be able to add the to points of the aircraft .. good luck and see you in exhaust heaven be sure to drop some screen shots in dude to show us how you went .. /thumbup1.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= thumbup1.gif />

I would say this question is best answered by Robin ,and proberly in the Godzone support as it is something ive noticed after loading up at GZ airports and i only run payware GZ so you are not alone ,i guess it would be what ive said already but it would always be nice to know and why ..

There are a couple of freeware programs avaliable to replace AFCAD One is called FSXPlanner (which I use)- Go to FSdeveloper.com and have a look on the forums for the download link or google search 'FSXPlanner Zblue' and you should find it. The other is called ADE (Airport Design Editor)- I havent used this but, as well as the basic airport editing functions, I believe it does a few other things- Have a look on FsDeveloper as well. Both of these can open/decompile XML based BGL files include the default ones. This allows you to start with the default airport and edit it as opposed to...
