Yip G/card secondary now for higher enders , processor first , typically its a measure by the people running X for so many years ... but always go NvidiaGe/force and mug the rest.

Hey thx for the post Mike, was more after getting the OAT into the Shift Z textinfo, gauge swapping is handy but only when 3d gauges aint used. It bugs me how a simple yet one of the most absolute essential navigational items can be left out of so many "Realistic and tested by real pilots" VC's. /biggrin.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :D border= 0 alt= biggrin.gif />

I've been experimenting with AddIt! Pro which allows you to add and remove aircraft on the fly. It greatly reduces load time for selecting aircraft by allowing most to be hidden for most of the time. Seems to work well and also allows the same sort of thing for scenery files. The only thing that I'm not sure of is what happens if someone flying in multiplay is flying one of the aircraft that I've 'hidden'. Worth a serious look in my opinion, you get a month to trial it before purchase. www.byteforge.com

It dose look interesting , wonder how i would work going to the more military environment example permissions for valley flying , guess has an option for that lateral thinking ? .. guess end of day its point to point , so on request and clearance Clarence , dose it control rouge AI , that is everyone's nemesis .. all tho found a good trick to trick that was to deviate and overfly the airport get given permission to land .

Personally I would swap the 2600k for a 2500k and upgrade your graphics card. One quick question, what brand is the power supply? Other than that, a solid system that should run FSX well.

Your FSX would be better loaded onto another hard drivein my setup my Win 7 X64 ultimate is loaded and with all the programs etc if is 74GB so it wouldnt fir on a 40GB SSD My FSX with addons still to be added is 51GB. I have my Win 7 X64 loaded on a 150GB partition on a 500GB hard drive and my FSX is loaded onto a 128GB SSD

QUOTE (ngatimozart @ Jun 25 2011,12:37 AM) I've lost the ATC audio in FSX. I get the ATC onscreen txt ok. I run FSX and Acceleration on a 64bit system with a 3.2Mhz quad core cpu and 8gb of RAM. Any suggestions and help would be greatly appreciated. Hmm you definitely have other sound (press 'Q' to cycle sound on or off)?

QUOTE (wairoaboy @ Jan 19 2012,6:49 PM) Hi all....Im desperate to know will FSX support PhysX? There is so much conflicting information online Kind Wishes and thanks...Ant No. And development for the FSX engine and coding has ceased since the invent of Microsoft Flight. However, Lockheed Martin is developing on the old FSX/ESP code which is now named Prepar3D. Lockheed have plans to develop using DX11. To an everyday user it looks like FSX but significant changes have been applied to the base code and they're still developing on it. So far there is talk of a major upgrade to...

QUOTE (AlisterC @ Dec 11 2011,6:17 PM) Welcome! This is very good advice. I also keep back ups of important sim folders. Wise advice /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> Thank you Alister. I have really enjoyed getting back into the FS world after a long absence and wanted to share what I have learned. As I posted before, I have benefited tremendously from the experience and sharing of others. It really was quite frustrating at first trying to get FSX working to my liking, but I am a stubborn person and I stuck with it. I learned a lot in...

Is certainly a bit of a pain correcting it, but worthwhile. I first noticed this when I upgraded from FS9 to FSX, FS9 apparently not as picky about it.
