Hey Sonnyj, Yes I am aware of that, and have searched every possible rendition of the Cook Islands for FS9; though not photoreal, Christian's was the most complete and comprehensive scenery available for them and I'd really love to get my hands on it! Also there actually isn't any photoreal scenery of the Cook Islands for FS9 on flightsim.com (I just rechecked). Thanks for your reply though! Leonardo

Today going thru many files and scenery, Cook Islands FS9 and the FSX patch, I have contacted Christian again today with NO reply from 18 months back ... think scenery is aging like a Wine spose.

For some reason, installing the Red Baron Roads and Rivers addon (Formerly known as the Geographx Topographic Scenery addon) sometimes leaves portions of the default MS scenery installed, which results in a 'doubling-up' of roads, rivers and coastlines. To fix this, you just need to remove the scenery files listed in the text document attached to this post. The fix is easy and won't damage your FS9 installation, however please do not hold me responsible for any undesirable results! /blink.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= blink.gif /> Regards, Mat

Hi Des Unfortunately, this plateau is caused by the airport itself, which means you need to replace it. Just search this forum for an NZMF addon (like the one from hardcore pawn), follow install instructions and you're set. The bonus is you get a much more realistic airport as well. Christian

QUOTE (DAJ @ Sep 9 2010, 09:05 PM) Thanks I will confirm when I have verified that my screen is showing the same detail as the promotion screen shots. I now have a good understanding of where the files are and how to enter their name in the library so that they can be accessed. Also I can also recognize that the Red Baron files are installed by the better display of scenery especially Milford sound which brings me to the next problem. The runway sits on a table top mountain, well I have actually flown a real cessna 172 onto that runway and its not like that. I have installed the FS04...

QUOTE (Christian @ Aug 16 2010, 05:56 PM) Hard to know what's the cause as there are maybe only a handful or even less people with this problem... Fixed with computer upgrade. I can only assume it was a hardware issue.

Unfortunately names are hard to get by. Just tried Robin's solution, but it seems to just take a close location, not the actual strip name (only tried Southland, but I do know a few strips there by name and the web sites seems to fail for those).

QUOTE (dbcunnz @ May 5 2010, 04:32 AM) It would pay to do a reinstall as they may place or replace some files in the world scenery folder. Doug Yes, you need to reinstall as the installer disables some default files.
