I've since had an email from tesza saying that this was solved by changing the priority of the Real NZ scenery, so all fixed now.

Following a query through my website, I thought I'd make it clear that the FSX Collection/Supercity 'Better together' discount still applies during the sale, so the total price for the download version is $107.36.... To get this price just have both in your shopping cart, and the 'better together' discount will appear at Step 2 of 3 - Payment Information within the Store.

QUOTE (toprob @ Jun 16 2010, 11:53 AM) MS actually made the mesh level a slider in FSX, rather than having to edit the cfg file. So the recommended mesh resolution setting is 20 metres. Although the main problem with FS2004 was having the setting too low, it is actually more of a problem in FSX having the setting too high, and I suspect that this is what is happening here. The higher the setting, the more abrupt the transition, and you end up with a cliff rather than a nice soft blend. So first this is to try the mesh resolution at 20 metres and see if that helps. I think that this...

Thanks for the quick response. Yeah I figured the d/l manager probably opened multiple threads. Just gotta download Rotorua now and I'm good to go! Thanks very much. /thumbup1.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= thumbup1.gif />

Only thing missing , people jumping fencing searching for short cuts from the terminal to the airshow venue ... the airport directly in front off me but a 500 meter one way trip only to find nobody - nothing but a sparrow who figured his way in the building , only to have to walk ... my case run that 500 meters back 'full pack' .. all i wanted was a simple check in /biggrin.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :D border= 0 alt= biggrin.gif /> , Arrrr the memories , the day looked just like that ! /cool.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= B-) border= 0 alt= cool.gif />

There is this map which I put together sometime ago showing FSX scenery- Click on the FSX scenery tick box to show that type of scenery and click on the map which will give a pop-up box with the link to that scenery. It needs an update but should have most things on there up until 2009

Hi Robin, Hey, no problems; just wondering, that's all /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif /> Takitimu is the last freeware download on my list; and, as it's about 70% done, will "soldier on" (and it really doesn't interfer too much with watching Babylon 5, Season 5). Thanks for the very kind offer though.

304 in FS 2004 and FSX mate, think is one of the few ones in NZ that arn't the same as in FS as they keep changing the dam freqs to try and make reception better but so far makes no difference
