QUOTE (toprob @ Mar 16 2011,12:26 PM) This is ready for final testing, I just need a few members to run the update and let me know if anything untoward happens. It requires an installed Real New Zealand Marlborough (or Across the Strait) and is built for use with VLC, but it will install if you don't have VLC -- try it, but you'll be missing some VLC library objects such as fences etc. There is no 'un-patch' included, so you might want to back-up your RealNZmarlborough folder first. The patch only affects the contents of the RealNZmarlborough folder though. I Robin,...

Thanks for all the input. I'm going to hold off a while longer purely from a financial standpoint due to some other events, but I'll definitely purchase at least the package covering the fields on the South Island sometime hopefully in the next couple of months!

Another Update. I found the same problem exists on Lake Taupo. In desperation I've stoked up my older rig pre-VLC. Same Problem at Volcanic Air! So the problem appears to be either the plane config (ZK-FEO) or something went wrong in the conversion of the FS9 Traffic file. So at least the problem isn't VLC or Robin's scenery! I'll try and change the plane to another floatplane. I can't believe I'm the only one with this problem. Cheers Paul

Hi AlisterC, For reference, the file in question was RamplightLibrary.bgl I know it was already in the Static Objects Library, but i don't remember installing it into addon scenery/scenery. Best wishes & thanks, Ross.

Ok, I've now switched the Store over to automatic credit card processing, via Paymex. There's a sticky post with more details in the Godzone support forum. In the end I didn't need to shut the store down, Saturday's normally give a nice quiet patch so I can have a play with the code without disturbing anyone. This is part of a tidy-up of the Store and website based on user feedback. Generally changes to the store require a bit of thought and planning, which is why I've tried for one big tidy-up now, rather than lots of little fiddly changes. Thanks to those who pointed out...

As a long time real life pilot, Flight Simulation has surprised and delighted me with its overall proximity to reality. Default scenery, especially in earlier years, was disappointing but recently there seems to have been a breakthrough and what's emerging, in the add-on world, is just plain good. By and large, I find VLC a vast improvement and will add your stuff as it comes on line.

QUOTE (toprob @ Nov 25 2010, 09:41 PM) Also, if anyone has a nice collection of objects which would make a nice NZ-based library, now would be the time to get it out into the community. Would a small size club house type building be anygood? 10x18x3m

A shadow which joins your aircraft shadow is caused by an object with a broken 'volume shadow'. I have had a look at this, and I can't figure out what this object is -- I can't see it on my system. EDIT: do you have FSX SP2 installed?
