Noticed that from the very beginning - I guess you always build a third scenery .... "The missing road only scenery" for those anomalies , sure we'd find more as time go's by .

QUOTE (goingboeing @ Sep 16 2013,9:47 PM) Hey robin just read this part of the forum with regards to Rotorua, if aerial shots are needed i could possibly take some for you i could hire a 172 or something (time and finances permitting) and get some shots from o/head, i can also possibly get any airside photos you might need. Sorry, almost missed this. Cheers, GB, but really to update this I'd need some aerial images to replace the old LINZ aerials, which cover the lake and beyond. That's actually the weak link with this scenery, modelling the airport itself wouldn't be a...

QUOTE (ZK-LGD @ Sep 12 2013,4:10 PM) Actually, very surprised no one has mentioned the honkin' great green polygon at the taxiway entrance to Rwy 16. Found out that by deactivating the file: FTX_NZNI_objects_NZWN_groundpoly.bgl (FTX_NZNI_05_Scenery/scenery) it has now disappeared. Just an FYI. Yes, it is honkin', it's very green, and it is real.

QUOTE (toprob @ Aug 17 2013,5:06 PM) Ian/Doug's project does seem to be aimed at FTX only, which doesn't suit me at the moment, but I'd still be happy to contribute to some extent. Well the airport photo would drop in directly into VLC .. what make the photo area blend so well is is the near natural look the ORBX has in regard to shelter belt and texture , airports only change every 50 so years .

QUOTE (zk2704 @ Jun 21 2013,9:38 PM) Actually Rob, the city model appeared just fine, I did a flyby above the city and the model is working in FSX. Yes, only objects with transparency won't appear properly, which is fine if you don't get too close.

QUOTE (Butcher @ Mar 1 2013,2:22 PM) second was the big clock in the middle of the road if you enter the town/village... ...which is included in the scenery. Take a look at the Godzone Facebook page for a screenshot. As mentioned on Facebook, this model has the most polygons of any model in this scenery, certainly more than the airport terminal. It's all those curves which add complexity. I think the Nelson terminal might have more polys, but not by much. But as you've said, it kind of makes an impression, so it deserves to be included. P.S. My first memory of Hokitika is the...

I have random white patches like snowy mountains in summer with NZNI. Just bought the awesome value pack...is the rotorua airport suppose to be complex with buildings or more lower volume but to scale?

I hope I'm right here I use the Wellington Airport fs9 of Godzone and have a question, how do you replace the runway because the runway lighting are somewhat below the scenery. The runway edge lines and this is missing I wanted to install via AFCAD2, but the scenery is not displayed.

Cheers, Todd. A lot of people use 'AFCAD 2' as a generic term for an airport facilities file, because of the tool which was used to create these for FS2004 -- Lee Swordy's AFCAD 2 program. So I assume you are talking about a general airport facilities file of some sort. Supercity doesn't include one for NZAA, as the default NZAA is one of FSX's two dozen or so 'high detail' airports, and Supercity doesn't alter this at all. NZWN has a facilities file -- it's called for Wellington Intl NZWN.bgl, in RealNZwgtn\Scenery.

Seems to look ok to me, albeit your graphic settings are very low. Bear in mind that the Real NZ Tauranga scenery only extends to the airport boundaries.

The older lower res photo is currently being uploaded , the AGNs you can get from Flightsim.com will also work in both FS9-FSX .
