Yep, another great night with Full ATC. Really enjoyed myself. My only issue for the night was that I couldn't tune the F1 ATR into the ILS. No drama, it was sweet night for a visual approach. Jamie

QUOTE (Alex @ Jan 15 2008, 10:25 PM) I suppose a good idea would be to find the actual date of NZFF's birthday, and it is ..... 26th April, around midday. The 26th this year falls on a Saturday. Good enough evening for a flight? :) QUOTE (benwynn @ Feb 14 2008, 07:49 PM) What date will it be on? The same weekend as the airshow at Easter? ;) Alex

Wellington was well suited for a NZ event for mimicking real world ops. The event showed greater involvement for all ATC and pilots who participated, giving greater frequency and shorter legs from all directions. Perfect for a 1st Birthday bash! vANZ had a good turnout with Jamie Marshall, Alister Curnow, James Mckay and myself completing a number of legs, plus all that used the ANZ call sign - see the stats Like a few others I had some aircraft and server issues too, but thankfully both engines didn't simultaneously hang on short finals. That would of ruined my night :P

QUOTE (atc_unit @ Jan 16 2008, 12:48 PM) Tell you what,,, do away with Squawkbox and chuck on FSInn. A little bit of tinkering and you are away - and its sooo much better (not as simple but since when do people want simple)? I agree, FSINN's much better than Squawkbox

Yep, check out the pinned topic "I'm going Online" in the Multiplayer forum. As Brock mentioned there are different places for Multiplayer depending on your how you want to fly. The good thing is everybody is catered for whether they want to fly full on simulated or informally. I'm normally on the FS2004 Inspire server Friday nights from about 2030hrs. There are usually a few others on the same time Friday and Saturdays. I mainly fly rotorwing but also happy doing fixed wing low and slow around the hills. So don't be shy either Inspire, VATSIM or IVAO come on and join in.

Seeing you fly FSX you mite not want to join us hooning around ,We have no stuctured ,and fly fs2004 ,you would need fshost to connect in on our MPlayer sessions .. The good part to all our flights are they are not planned we dont care if you bugger up ,dont mind if you feel like dive bombing us , are pretty down to earth with a good knowleage base and we fly random times ,including many 3am finshes ,There really is no Geek factor to our flights at all ,thats just what the kids and misses call us /laugh.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= laugh.gif /> You are welcome...
