It seen many have walked from FS full stop or currently in decline, maybe they caught the wife disease, the best MP's was when one training ATC person Nick Beatty now in the tower at CHC was in Dunedin , I set up MPs and he sat in the tower, was to follow traffic procedure and use API plates and charts that was fun.

Mike at a real lost there because I was surprised you were able to run FXS on two machines, but you got it sorted a whiles back -Wonder what hell has changed? .... it use to be great , myself doing the same with the old FS9 I would like to be able to host an MP on my main machine, which means that my second machine will have to connect via the internet, not by the LAN. I need to set my router to allow access from outside and that is where the problem is. :( That would Ideal ... FS9 did not have an issue nor did the early FSX pre SP's , I did that running ATC as mention and a early carrier MP...

Just a question... I only have fsx, i only got into flightsim after it was released, and do they have anything for fsx in the NZ devision. They only give four 'mirrors' to download IvAp for fsx, and none of these is for NZ. I know this is probably a stupid question, but does it matter which 'mirror' you use? Would it even be worth buying fs9, its only $50...

Just two of us on Sunday night, ZKIWI and ZKDWF. Choice of DA40 meant quite a long slow flight - just over two hours. We were able to experiment with Discord's Screen sharing option, which was extremely easy to set up and use. Also, did some formation flying (a good idea for a future flight, maybe?) We were also getting some good frame rates too.

I think that is a good idea. The last flight had us all in similar aircraft ( all X Cub based) and it was good seeing them. I even jumped out of the RV14A and in to the NX Cub for the leg and apart from failing when i dipped my wheels in the lake and had to play catch up, it was great being in the same aircraft. I don't think it needs to be all the same exact aircraft but similar performance would be great.

Great enjoyable slow flight from Haast to Queenstown on Sunday night, with all of us (Dave, Ty and Robin) in the Cub X. Tried dipping my wheels in Lake McKerrow with disastrous consequences. Had to 'slew' my way out of the water.

Flew with Jeff Preou and ZKIWI66 (Ty). Had some hairy moments with the wind, and quirks with post SU9 glitches such as distorted ORBX mesh.

Usual 'Three Musketeers' on Sunday's trip - Dave, Jeff and Robin. We all had problems landing at Fox Glacier (depending on what scenery you were using). The default scenery has a rather large hump halfway down the runway, as some found out too late. Flying out of Fox, we all had to circle a while to try and get over Mount Cook. Then, out of Mount Cook, we had repeat the process to get over the Alps, and onto Haast. Here's some pictures... Pays to have the correct scenery ... he he !! This was sure one climb ... Crossing the Alps to Haast was absolutely stunning ...

Yeah, I missed this one as well as I was busy, but was likewise looking forward to it, especially being in my 'area' (-ish, in that it was the South Island). Next time...

I was in the freeware Dee Jing RV-7A and it worked out well. Still haven't worked out how to track a flight plan or a VOR on the autopilot, but altitude and heading AP worked well. So my first real M/P went well, and I look forward to another one. Thanks all :)
