Hard to believe that this came from a flight simulator! Quite incredible! Beats Dargaville any day! /laugh.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= laugh.gif /> BTW - Mike, or anyone - I have window titles off, a/c labels off, but I still get the red info at the top right of the screen for about 10 secs as I change views (or zoom in/out) ... is there any way to get rid of those? EDIT: Answered my own question! HideInfoText=1 under the heading in the fsx.cfg ... or TransitionTime= in the section.

For those who have not yet invested in TrackIR or Triplehead, I guess this is living proof. (And the resolution is a little better these days) Not a bad idea to shoot video of the whole thing, actually, gives you a feeling of the sim setup. FRAPS I find these days is somehow not as smooth as it used to be... Look forward to some of your newer clips - err, you did say 9.6GHZ , right?

QUOTE (Ian Warren @ Jul 2 2010, 07:42 PM) Ross .. I have studied the raid myself , one reason getting the AH Lanc FS9 / 2004 was to test it out in the NZ dam and lake regions , with the photoreal scenery i was working on using the Auckland Lake res.v as the Target , it appeared to be so similar , and nearly the same size off length in lake towards the Dam .. FSX - With the ore detailed RealNZ Auckland region , i was able to get in , i had this in the back off my mind to see , this time with the FCS Lancaster and in at night . Hell off a exciting ride even on the sim . I did wonder if...

I never knew that AI planes had virtual cockpits, reminded me of the early v.c's from FS2000/2002.

Looking Good , .. you had ruffled a few feathers with your previous Video . The idea to recreate an air accident using Flight Sim is good , I would choose a subject with a little history and research make it factual , I could see what you were trying to do , but requires as much knowledge and reports to shed light on what happened or could have . Personally if you get it right , it will make it good ! ..... /smile.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= :) border= 0 alt= smile.gif />

HamHam , Newbie on the Block ! ... I'm sure you showed no disrespect , Time, Dates, and to the people involved as bad and as sad the incident was , maybe more the feeling .. the bad always is , well always has that affect ., I'm sure and would be pleased to see more historical Movie clips , it dose need to be more correct , to follow up on information , that,s the research side off things , . I recall a young CTDAN creating an image , Air New Zealand DC-10 and his work was shunned ( heck 30 years back) , i do many works involving WWII or actions - little different i no , family...

QUOTE (hamham500 @ May 16 2010, 08:29 AM) By Posky. Mmmm.. you sure about that, I'm pretty sure POSKY dont do a 300, they do have a 330 & 340 though. Have you got a decent panel for it? There's a nice panel for the HNAC but doesnt seem to work completely/well with other models

QUOTE (Adamski @ May 10 2010, 02:50 AM) Apologies if you've answered this already ... just looking at the river detail ... will VLC make Roads & Rivers redundant? Yes. QUOTE (Venge @ May 10 2010, 06:56 AM) Any chance of getting a peak at less dramatic scenery using VLC? I fly around Whangarei a fair bit (is where I started my PPL training way back when) and am wondering what VLC is going to do to to teh area. Right now with stock scenery is terribad and I have high hopes for VLC improving the area for me :) It seems particularly bad mid way area between west and east...
