NZFF

That video shows why I've been obsessed with southern lakes flying since FS2002 -- now we have something which actually does the area justice. When he lands lake-side, and looks towards the water, it is as real as I could hope for. I am endlessly fascinated by the grass, I remember saying in a post here a long time ago that since NZ is about 60% grass by weight, we would never see an accurate representation, but now we have grass everywhere:) I've done lots of flights like this recently, I can spend an hour exploring around a single lake. For AeroflyFS2, I think we need some NZ base scenery first... Exactly right Michael. I'm keeping an eye on FS2 but since I don't fly much and only want to fly NZ, until there is coverage I am unlikely to purchase it (especially since I already have P3D4 and coverage in there).

That's the sort of video I imagined, Brendan, except that I can't fly anything that size, so thanks :D

B-) Good timing , I've been working on adding to the New Zealand Photo Real threads here , A 2 A , SOH and NZ proboards, NZ Taieri was a recent edit I'm working on , but to have this video added and the Taieri video added, links at the bottom for the international sites , that will really give it a this scenery a real heave ho.
