Cool route, and gotta love that taxi-way at the end :D Welcome to NZFF by the way  Thank you. Yes that taxiway is fun but one has to be careful. The slope cause the plane to accelerate and turning is usually pretty tight. I was using the toe brakes rather than nosewheel steering (they provided better control in this situation).

Mmm someone will wake up to voice commands for the copilot, I'm sure. I could never get used to the "hands" in AFS2.

The RNZAF ones were later CB models of the MB.339. They had a longer nose, longer cylindrical tip tanks and an updated cockpit panel. Also equipped with laser rangefinder, radar detection, and advanced weapons. capability.

Cheers, but I have to say 95% of the channel is speedway stuff :) You see a mouse cursor :) Sometimes there are parallax problems - you're looking at two screens and they're quite different for things that close, you can see when I'm starting the copter there are often two cursors and they're miles apart, sometimes it helps to close one eye so you only see the image that the cursor works on - but one of the updates made the cursor snap onto whatever it's over so it's normally obvious what you're going to click. Normally. A few times starting the copter I had to close my left eye to find the...

My approach to this forum is via the "view new posts" button, top right. It does mean though, that if you don't look at all new posts in a session, they are forever gone. It also pays to check the unread posts button too as they will bring up the ones that aren't really gone forever.

Well I would've given a left, errr, anyway what a privileged position you were in, to have access to all that stuff for work and play! I am thinking an authentic Mosquito for MSFS 2020 would probably take up a whole winter of evenings... wonder where one would get hold of all the information for such a model??? There is a Mossie coming out for DCS and it looks very good indeed. Be nice to see one in MSFS for sure

Checking out Castle Hill, when someone dropped in for a while. Watch on Youtube, HD please. I'm aware that this isn't the best video, but I'm loving the experience! There's a song for that someone with legs hanging out, it's called "Drop the Pilot" by Joan Armatrading

Wow. That illustrates one important thing with MFS -- this is a 'modern' simulator, it might not be perfect on release, but it will be a lot of fun, and it'll only get better in the future.

That video shows why I've been obsessed with southern lakes flying since FS2002 -- now we have something which actually does the area justice. When he lands lake-side, and looks towards the water, it is as real as I could hope for. I am endlessly fascinated by the grass, I remember saying in a post here a long time ago that since NZ is about 60% grass by weight, we would never see an accurate representation, but now we have grass everywhere:) I've done lots of flights like this recently, I can spend an hour exploring around a single lake. This week it's been Wanaka, and the weather hasn't...
