Lukla - Mount Everest - Extreme. Lukla Airport Redux

Postby Charl » Thu Jan 28, 2021 10:21 am

I rediscovered the "Developer View" in AFS2 which allows free roaming of the external camera.
This is great for walking around scenery.

I found this RW write-up which really gives an impression of the airport.

and so made some postcards to show how authentic Sascha's scenery modelling was.
Check out the baggage slide!

Charl, that's amazing. It's hard to tell what's real and what's not.... great post.
Must be a fascinating place.

It is fascinating... long time since I opened a flightsim session that turned into a holistic educational experience!

Cut me a little slack here, this is AFS2! :P
If you half-close your eyes and immerse yourself in the magic, you can *just* about substitute a SATA Dash for one from Summit Air!
Although in truth I don't think anything larger than a Dornier 228 goes to Lukla, certainly me landing efforts in the Dash have been umm compromised. By the wall at the top of the runway.
