Looking good Lawrie , you may want to splash out on FTX GLOBAL for your terrain.

Well Steve,.......... sad to say, if your gonna try it in P3D, there will be a couple of items that wont work.

The signs on the buildings, the covered walkway in the carpark, and the 2 silver jetway extensions from the terminal building.

Everything else should work.

You are so right,.......... it wasnt one of your requests. It was someone elses, who also happened to request NWWW Tontouta as well, same as you.
Youre other one was NVVV Bauerfield / Port Vila International..................
NVVV Is under construction, starting from scratch. Lost that one last year when my computer failed.

Yeah know how computer failures go. But hey Tontouta's here and looking sweet so I'm happy. I can wait for Port Vila smile.gif

The only thing I could suggest with your sceneries if it is actually possible (dunno if it is) is the grass area around the runway's/taxiways is is it possible to use a darker grass texture? That light one sometimes comes across as glaringly white for some reason, but apart from that dude awesome work and keep em coming. You're doing a great job filling in airports that were really lacking or neglected in FSX and you make them look sweet And I do love this one. I'll screenie a vANZ flight into it soon... thumbup1.gif

Lawrie I wonder if those BGL's can be recompiled with Arno's ModelConverterX? Some objects can and some not.
I was trying to have a go with the Napier terminal but for some reason that one just wont open in MCX. I have got the Napier terminal to show but the windows lack texture.

Be really great if you could keep P3D in mind when constructing your scenery as airports is one thing that is seriously lacking (especially in NZ).

Cheers
Steve

Thanks Lawrie. Running FTX Clobal & Global Vector your package fits in almost perfectly with the default strip given that the boundary road parallel to and around the 29 threshold has a small conflict that [IMHO] does not detract too much from the whole impression
Note that there is a flaw in FTX where the river at a point along compass bearing 32 from above the threshold of 11 shows a river flowing up hill then descending into the valley. Good job

Since this scenery is still the best La Tontouta available, I have made a simple mod to make it compatible with P3D and the "New Caledonia" add-on.

You can download it from my Google Drive (you need the original Lawrie's scenery to use it).
