Most of my life seems to be spent shopping at Mr. Sainsbury's Superstore, obtaining nice things to eat and drink, then going back home to cook, eat, and enjoy it!!... ...!

The latest trip, back home, and stopping for petrol on the way.

Daisy, with her, normally aspirated, Constant Velocity Carburettor seems to thrive on best quality petrol, so "Super-Grade" suits her fine... ...

...and at around 80+ Miles Per Gallon, the extra cost over; "Regular" is negligible!... :wink2: ...!

The downside....Its still freezing cold in England!... :( ...>>>

I desperately need "Summer" to appear in my back garden!... :( ...!

Paul.... :D ....!

P.S...Sorry about all the; "sniffles" but it really was COLD!...and my; "normally aspirated nose" suffers as a result!... ...!

More bad news for Harley Davidson!.

As if the factory close-down in Kansas City, Missouri wasn't bad enough, including a slow down in motorcycle sales....

A war-time nostalgic trip for me on my Motorcycle; Summer 2017.

The village where I was evacuated to at the start of the Blitz of London in 1940.

Little Dewchurch in the County of Herefordshire. England.

Monday the 26th of March and the weather is slowly getting warmer (maybe?) so its time for my first ride through the local countryside after a cold snowy Winter!

Left home, took the ride to the local village of Credenhill, started my video there and covered my journey to the next village of Mancel Lacy, had a look around, and returned back to Credenhill again...and then went back home again!

A nice little outing on a reasonably warm day, (I like warm days)...>>>>

Sold one of my four Motorcycles today.
My beautiful 1995 Honda CB500RR Twin....>>>

Image

She toppled over on me 4 years ago whilst stopped at a road junction, and trapped me underneath!
Finally decided she was getting too high (seat) and too heavy for me to manage comfortably, and immediately kept her indoors, unused, in my house for 4 years with her battery constantly on trickle charge. Changed the petrol for new stuff today and she fired up!
The new owner was a happy bunny, and will look after her!
I can only manage "Cruiser-Type Motorcycles" now, with their low-height seats (my present Honda Rebel), and both feet firmly planted on the ground for stability!

I now have a few extra pennies to spend on my 1996 Honda Rebel to make her look even prettier!

The weather is still dull and damp, but gradually getting warmer, 60*F < 70*F soon, for some longer bike rides around the countryside!

Latest stuff in case you missed it...>>>

..... .... .... ....Marty!

One of my old bikes was my 1948 Series B/C 1,000cc Vincent HRD Rapide vee-twin with a 4-seater Sidecar, and trying to kickstart that bike with is failing Magneto and poor spark, was a crucifying affair only fit for the fit, strong, healthy and dedicated brigade!

It was the most over-complicated and troublesome of all my many British bikes at the time!....

My present four bikes are Honda and Yamaha, with their typical reliability...(and ease of starting!)... ...!

(One of my best British bikes was my 1958 BSA 650cc Super Rocket Café racer!).... ...!

My present 1996 Honda CMX250C Rebel Cruiser twin is my pride and joy at the moment. Do anything and go anywhere!... :D ...!

Take care all, on two wheels!

The wet weather is a bit poo at the moment, for countryside rides!.... :( ...!

It's May Spring Bank Holiday in the Land of the Angles and Saxons at the moment

Which means thunder, lightning, and torrential rain...as always... :( ...!

So, a flashback to last Sunday in the glorious warm sunshine...a distinct rarity in Angleland.

A journey from Hereford to Abergavenny in Wales for the regular Sunday meet up with all the Bikers in the Bus Park!

Then a nostalgic trip from Abergavenny to Monmouth along the original country road, (before the new Dual Carriageway/Freeway was built)...>>>

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eycH3DcEpYc&t=462s

Then back home again to Hereford along the old Monmouth to Hereford 'Bus route...>>>

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UunzSbVPoSE&t=8s

A rare memorable trip in glorious sunshine!

Lots of memories of what England looked like on my various road/bus/train trips in the 1930's, 1940's, and 1950's...

...when there was little, or no traffic on the roads, very few people, and the Sun always shone on me!

Enjoy Folks!

A chance to view the scenery at zero feet AGL!

27th September 2018 (yesterday) involved videoing a wonderful 35 mile trip around the Northern end of my County.

I have processed the video, but being one hour long, I may have to edit the video, making it much shorter, to fit comfortably on Youtube for viewing!

(It takes many, many hours to upload on my Broadband Internet...via a copper phone line!!).... ...!

October is on its way, with Winter approaching, so its every opportunity to go for a ride now, while the warm sun still shines on me!

Take care Folks, and ride/fly safe!
