I really cant see where or who would be able to bring back a full size 747, The cost of getting it back would be a huge amount of money and no airport would be interested
in long term storage of a plane that size.

Lufthansa can restore a Connie on the training budget, and keep it flying. QANTAS has a museum to park its old planes at, but they're in for life

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

That is the primary, course other big thing bringing an aircraft back in one means its the air frames final hours or least close to it, guess that is where NZCH would safest final stop with a paddock in the back South West corner to leave it for a museum purpose.

Well he has the ball rolling on some ideas, many of these hulk in the outta places do sit there for year without touching, still the question of where are they and how are they going to get them moving to that location.

They transport steam trains so I am sure they would find the way of moving the plane. Still wonders who is going to pay the bill ? Or they are expecting for northing ?

Sometimes it dose get surprising what some think and simply say if you can move it you can have it cos simply sometimes it is cheaper to give away but that would also mean a time limit thing to get the hulk away quiclyk, so you never know what happens , how long has this been in planning , has just flair'd over the last year or has it been years , you don't know.

Another video update. I still would like to know where the money is coming from and where these aircraft will be stored.

Sure will https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7gNCDdno5nY

I was reading a comment about Paul with bring our birds home and a person commented, If you happen to bring one of these aircraft back where would you put it for the mean time,? with the response not my problem. That was not a good answer

And there in lies the problem with this. What to do with the 'carcass' because that's what they will be if they arrive on these shores. If that's what he thinks about it then why bother bringing them here to rot and corrode away?

I guess its all about getting people to see what flew in the day. It cant be just and dc8 or electra it has to be the one. I cant see it really it will cost millions to house them.
