Ok. All set with a quick repaint of Fletcher ZK-EMC to represent a current machine, at the first strip for FoF, to do some lovely dusting screenies......and this happens:

I get the same fuzzy textures at the Wanganui scenery, too, but RealNZ Omaka is fine! Ideas?

What format did you save the textures in and what graphics tool did you use to do it?

The Fletcher's fine at other sceneries, just over the "Flock" ones this happens. I just went into DXTBMP and fiddled around with whatever the default save option was.

This is something to do with Snowman's scenery and there is a fix for it somewhere - Lawrie (Snowman) should be able to help you

smile.gif Thanks Paul. I tried a Cub at NZWU and after two, three seconds she went all blurry. Also, just had a blat in Walter Fletcher EML between Koromiko and Omaka with no problems.

Have a look at the beginning of this thread here re the "blurries"...............

http://nzff.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6131

Also, ive found FS9 is not too happy with any textures that are not saved in DXT1 with MIPMAPS turned ON, from experimentation with custom buildings.
The same MAY apply to your aircraft texture...................
Read the Read-me's with the updated texture sets for Sidney Schwartz's Library Object sets,.... i think it mentions something about it in there as well....
