Just finished watching this video about Captain Eric Winkle Brown, a most fascinating documentary about a remarkable pilot. Not sure if this has been posted before, but it's definitely worth a viewing. He is referred to as the greatest pilot Britain has ever produced, not sure how true that is but certainly he was someone special.

It's a BBC doc so expect great quality!

Nick that is a BRILLIANT short movie, love that one were the F-14 was caught but still airborne - bet he got a low score from the LSO Officer , next time you stop thru here you have to try out the Aerosoft Tomcat

Take me years to build one of my battleships ... takes these guys five and a bit minutes 1100 feet of aircraft carrier don't know why they put a stealthy looking Island on it .. very sure you would see 110 ton s of aircraft carrier on the horizon .... well least! we won't .
