Where to see the ANZ B777's

Mind boggles, but I guess in theory some of these could be returned to service

Winners and losers from the Covid storm.
I couldn't come up with a reason for Alice Springs' existence.
It appears populated by people mostly employed by the gummint to serve the needs of the people living in Alice Springs, mostly gummint employees!
Reason to read a little further, as to why it makes perfect sense for a Post-Corona boneyard:
Climate of course, and location: smack in the middle of nowhere, but also, equidistant from almost everything.
Just the ticket to serve Asia/Pacific then.
And of course the 8,000ft runway, a relic of WW2 which staged transport and bombers through for the reasons above.
So an A380 can get in, but as importantly if you change your mind, out again too.

Unlike the possible Middle East sites, I imagine the dust blew away from here eons ago.
All you need is a litle bulldozing to scrape away the bumps and voila! as much parking as you need.

I believe ANZ's contribution is the B777-200's
