Motherboard and CPU Upgrade?

Hey Team just wondering if I would benefit in upgrading my Current PC's Motherboard and CPU?only reason Im thinking of doing so is that its only 7th gen and have recently upgradred the Graphics card and ram



My current Sepcs below:



Windows 10 64 Bit
Asrock H110M-HDV Motherboard
1x 500GB SSD
1x 1TB HD
Intel Core I7-7700 @ 3.60GHZ
Nivida Geforce RTX 2070 Super 8GB
32GB GSkill Ram
Gold EVGA 700W PSU

I'd be interested to see what the recommended specs are for MS2020 before committing to any upgrade.
In fact your rig with P3DV5 (have the DX12 eng) would probably work quite nicely.
A shame you don't have the 7700K and got a wee bit of extra speed with an overclock.

Yeah I knwo sadly at the time of buying the PC I didn't know as much as I do now!

I'm holding off all purchases until MS2020. Even then, I will wait a while until it is proven in the field with VR until I make another PC purchase. My current rig runs P3Dv4 just fine and although it is a 'race car rig' right now, I *might* swap back to flight sim at the weekend...
I also noted P3D5 coming but I'm not sure I'll bother upgrading ... I'm yet to be convinced of enough of a leap to justify it and I *assume* content creators may again need to 'catch up' with their product compatibility and I can't be bothered with all that at this time, and certainly am unlikely to spend money to do so, should it be necesary.

It looks like most developers are onboard with V5. Looks like minimal work to port and that is mainly just installers.
Even PMDG not charging! See what sort of issues happen in the first week or so.

Yeah I'm also holding off until we see some h/w specs and some real world users of MS 2020 giving it a flogging with add-ons (as and when they release)
Don't panic Terry (PS your current spec looks good, compared to my old wreck anyway)
