I feel Jonos's pain ....12 hours spotting, and the bloody card/camera doesn't do what you paid it to do.
But... we did manage to salvage one shot.
An Air China 787-9 (B-1431...CA783) Diverted to Christchurch due to issues in AKL.

Well done big J, for the shot, and for doing the hours....and a night shot as well. Well done fella :thumbup:

I think it was a couple of weeks back when there was a band of rubbish weather going across AKL.
Windshear was reported on the ATIS and I wonder if in their SOP's they can't start an approach if it's reported?
