Looking much better for me Ian, thanks!

Oh, and +1 here interested to see NZAS and NZHK elevation fixed for FSX!

Ashburton really frizzled me, another place a hired a plane with others, all this to see and get the feel and lay off the land ... ORBX Canterbury plains .. they nailed that for looks and with the details adding the township and Rob Ashvegas .. Perfect .. but for the drama's of getting it to flatten with the both ..

Rob and me went down to the airfield and with him rolling around in the dirt getting photos, Figgen Great Day , all and all checking and looking ... even the drive on that 50 mile road studying and point out features .

So Yes Ashburton will also be fixed the way it should be .

Andy the small cliff , I screened that at 10 meter mesh ... I'll will look into that and check .. AGN hides details so maybe why I did not see it .

This morning I was looking at what could be done with the default Reeve (Waiheke) which is in the wrong place and should really be NZKE, not NZRV. First move was to disable APX94450.bgl, which covers airfields from Waihi across to Auckland and up to Coromandel and North Shore. Since most of the smaller ones were already in as Add-ons, I wasn't too concerned about disappearing the defaults, and I soon found Add-ons for North Shore, NZAA, Coromandel and Mike's WaihekeX

As a bonus, disabling that bgl seems to make Supercity load more quickly, but I don't know why. Very pleasing, anyway. A downside was losing the facilities from some airfields, but that shouldn't be hard to fix. Also, the related CVX file will cover those same airfields, which stops me just taking out the Waiheke one.

Mike has certainly nailed the terrain, with the help of some well-placed trees.

Default (with VLC)

APX94450.bgx

WaihekeX

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

When I finish getting my stuff setup again after that Migration Tool issue I'll screenshot the ORBX Waiheke and Waiheke X addon issue to compare.

Also- not sure why I don't have that big Mitre 10 building sitting at the old diusued runway 29 threshold like you. Running FTX NZNI but might not have one of the sliders high enough, or might have removed it by turning the 3 Orbx .BGL's to .OFF's?

The Mitre10 will appear if you turn ADE_FTX_NZNI_NZPP_Objects.OFF (or .BAK) to ADE_FTX_NZNI_NZPP_Objects.bgl

I still notice a small cliff on the seaward side of runway 34- the aircraft is blocking that area in the screenshot which you've posted. Just checking I havn't missed something somewhere?

Thanks Andy , I have now notice this , tried mesh settings 19 - 10 - 5 , Ill return to this and blend it into the scenery and make it look the part.

Looking good, I might be back up and running by the time you finish. Another reinstall coming up. Damned Waitemata Harbour is a solid landmass.... (To test it was indeed solid and not a textural glitch, I landed a 737 on it...) sad.gif

Was quite freaky, the trees had a part in them that formed like a bush landing strip. Kinda weird. I suspect it "May" be FSGenesis clashing violently with ORBX, but then it could be Vancouver Plus middle priority causing an escalated issue it once caused but I had sorted, tho turning it off didn't help. It's a brain stomper

It will be a direct conflict with FSGenesis , ORBX has affected everything else - elevations and gables was the beginning , FSG is similar part base from the older texture program.
