Yep I am working on a few things- I cant give any ETAs though.

Whakatane still needs some tweaks, Kaiparara flats is almost ready to go too. I went and took photos of the Kawerau airstrip.....only to find it has been abandoned as it is the site of the new geothermal power station I think

I could.....but that would depend on a) If there is Lidar data for that area and b) they would give to me for free! Im in a 'finish what is on my plate' mode at the moment....I just want to get the stuff out the door which is between 20-98% finished!

Erm...Well I just work on what whatever, whenever smile.gif I dont have a lot of time to work on stuff but am chipping away. In approx order of release:

Kaipara flats- In beta.

Whakatane- Main buildings are done. I still need to model the signs and the weather station and tweak the textures a bit. 90% done but the last 10% is taking ages. I will make an effort to finish this after Kaipara flats is released.

Springhill- Texture sheets done. Started modelling.

Parakai- Not started

Whenuapai- No modelling yet....not sure if Ill do this as it is a huge task. Updated FSX planner information done.

Its going well....The basic stuff is coming along nicely, the difficult part is decided what to include etc.

You can keep up to date with any announcements here: http://nzff.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9030

Have you decided what you are doing with Whenuapai yet? I'm going to get into modelling Hobsonville as my first project - simply because there is a decent enough background available, and because it is now not used as a fuctional airport. I still however feel that it deserves some attention for FSX to help add some realism to the area, and to serve as a stepping stone for me.

After that I'm going to tackle North Shore Aerodrome, and following that I'll take a look at Whenuapai if it hasn't already been done to a decent standard. Driving past there tonight with scenery design in mind it quickly became apparent how much work is involved just with modelling the flightline, let alone the airbase and immediate area as a whole!!!
