Mount Cook F-27 'ZK-BXF', 1991 livery

Once again, just for keeping track on the several repaints, I'll better open a new thread for this one.

Here's the real deal:

To get the upper edge of the blue cheatline better fitting the tip of the tail cone, it has been tapered downwards just a tad.

Thanks for this comment - it's already considered!
Judging from the photos above, BXF was kept quite tidy. And although I do love some wear&tear where appropriate (and the paint kit thankfully supports this), this repaint should resemble its rather immaculate template. The window frames will also receive some lightening up.
For the other repaints, I've already changed the original pure white basic fuselage textures to a slightly tinted shade (in fact being RAF ident white 242/241/234), but this one will be sporting pure white.

Now for cutting in the windows...

Cheers,
Markus.

Don't get me wrong Markus, I love weathering, but I think it should compliment and shouldn't be the stand out point. As I said, apart from that the paint is looking great. You are definitely on the right path...

No worries, you're absolutely right with it!
Mount Cook's Karuwai obviously was a clean bird - at least when those two photos above were taken in August 1991 and March 1992.

So with the fuselage whitened, the smear underneath the windows washed away and the window frame fittings lightened up, this is the current status:

Now that Markus, without the weathering below the windows etc, looks absolutely perfect !!
As Ian said, you are really cooking with this one !!
