Is there anybody out theeeerrrrreeeeee?

Postby jpreou » Tue Jan 09, 2018 1:03 pm

So, now I am getting my sim off the ground again (ha-ha! see what I did there?) ... anyone doing any multi-player P3Dv4 and how easy is it these days?
Last time I tried with other forum members the mix of FSX and P3Dx really didn't work very well.
Just curious.

A number of people I know are using JoinFS to connect in P3Dv4 - it also allows those using FSX, FSXSE and P3D v2,3 to join in as well. Check out DigitalThemePark. Use TeamSpeak to chat during setup and flights. I fly most Tuesdays and Fridays using the DTP servers. OM me if you want further details:

JoinFS even works with Xplane buit I'm pretty sure that there will be airport elevation differences so that may not be such a good option unless everyone is using Xplane.

Cheers, Greg - Doug was saying hardly anyone was using TS these days, and that would be the reason. Ian and I worked together on my autopiloted carrier project, where he hosted a session which I joined from SuperBeast with a Corsair, and from MiniBeast with the carrier. But I haven't really used it since.

Don't know how it is in NZ but Skype is freeware here in the US.. (I am an Aussie living in MS USA..) both visual and speech. I fly regularly with a bloke in Sydney using FSCloud..works a treat but the time difference is a *ugger.. Terry.
