Indeed it does mate. I comment when I can, but it seems to be awfully quiet.

Hello, all my Chums! It's been a while since I posted here for a while! Although we have been amid Winter Weather, I still perform my daily motorcycle rides to the local Supermarket and back every day for good things to cook and eat! I have finally recovered from my 90th Birthday on the 2nd March and my rides continue to occupy my mind...when it's not raining!! Anyhoo... I've had to pop into town to get my latest haircut to tidy up my dark brunette locks, so this is my latest enterprise on Daisy my trusty motorcycle...>>> Take a trip with me to town...>> ...and don't forget all...

Cheers, Mike, that's a good plan for my next layout, if/when I get around to it. At Silverstream, there is only a 1km stretch of track anyway, and I've modelled 400m of it, so the finished operation would be pretty much real life, except that there's a turnout at the far end to run the engine back to the rear of the train (facing backwards) for the return journey. It could operate as a switching layout, as eventually there will be 5 tracks leading into the sheds, but in reality there's old rolling stock cluttering up a lot of the track. In Brisbane I'll be visiting my son and his family (3...

Deeknow, most come from Booktopia in Australia. If you spend $99, shipping is free...not saying that I spend that much...okay, sometimes I do <_<

The migration is going well, the one I was most worried about was DCS, but it turned out to be the least problematic. The main issue at the moment is all the "sideline" stuff ...like getting Picasa to play the game...but Photoshop is happy with the upgrade. IL2 will update tonight.....did I mention that DCS took over 12 hours to reinstall. A zillion Gigabytes coming down at 1.2 MB a second. Will have P3D up and running tomorrow hopefully.

Wow, what a great looking model. A great Xmas present. What scale? Its 1/200 CP , Just the right size for some good detail, but wont take up much space. I'll post a shot of Jonos Air new Zealand collection ...you will be impressed ...and then there's Chris and his fleet :ph43r:

Very late Dec '22 and all on '23 was rough for us, and continues to be so. Sincerely hope that '24 is better and we can get back on top of things. Current estimates have us getting back 'on top' financially by year end '24 as long as we have no other major surprises. Happy New Year everyone and may you be blessed for 2024 and have every success and happiness :)

Yes! Not least because the 1kW heater posing as my flightsim PC really came into its own, driving the wannabe pilot away, into cooler environs!

Link Air operate SAAB 340s and Metroliners. My ride will be a 340, and I like a single seat, but they are all on the port side, so I can't do much for Charl.
