Qantas 707-138 in 1959 I would think. Thanks for answer, Naki By the way a 707 isn’t a wide body aircraft Yes you are correct but I said first long haul OR wide body plane meaning either long haul or wide body. BTW, the first wide body plane for Norway was 767 flown by Branthees (spelling) Regards, Aharon

Neat. Didn't know the story. Always disturbed me a little, the way those guys jump into enemy aircraft and fly the wings off them, with no apparent training. The other side would've had all that classroom time, just to get in the air!
