What are recommended installs also? How do I install Glaps50 for best performance or is there now something better. All your suggestions much appreciated. Thanks

Sorry that I have overlooked this. In the moment, I am witnessing an article on "Operation Bodenplatte" of the last attempt by the German Air Force to attack the British and American Air Force in the early hours of 1st January 1945. The matter went badly wrong, because the own German anti-aircraft artillery was not or insufficiently informed. A large number of the own machines were shot down. The bloodletting, especially among the well-trained leaders from the squadron leader to the Geschwader-commanders, could not be remedied. The RAF and USAAF had lost a lot of aircraft, but were...

I do wonder what I'd do if I didn't have the developer license -- would I pay NZ$300 for a simulator? Sure, but if I was made of money, otherwise I'd be happy to be a 'learner' for the rest of my life. I paid that amount (in €) for every major version since. I think I am in the "simulation" branch then. Otherwise I didn't care for those licensing discussions. If LM wouldn't like me to use P3D they could take actions, which they don't. The same applies to the Academic users. Kind regards, Michael

I was impressed by what you get, straight out of the (Steam)box. EDIT: I neglected to say, these are unedited screens...this from the "stock" sim: And this from the Swiss DLC: I'm enjoying this sim more than I thought, there's quite a bit to it, despite being "early access"

If I hadn't already done it, that would have tipped it for me, as this is a much more manageable price! ...and Aerofly has 15% off, if anyone has been vacillating about that one. Steam sales are dangerous!!!

Well, we're meant to have NZ-wide fibre quite soon A new Tui's billboard in the making there Rob. Talk like that could get one in trouble in my neighbourhood. Broadband offerings are pathetic....and Chorus have no plans to change that anytime soon.

Yes but dont forget you may not necessarily have OOM errors but FPS will still take a hit if you add extra detail as you propose. As always the hardware is still lagging behind.

Gidday Chris , that is hurt part , all those addons, on the norm years ago I was in , back then I had a real job only very fortunate that two NZFF Amigo's brought me up to speed , Greg and Marty , from what I have seen , the change darn right incredible, easy doubles frame rates , I was very surprised .

Sorry to hear about these bad experiences from a some of you. I've never had any problems with them. I've only ordered 3 physical disks but they all arrived in good time. Downloads are instant and now my preferred method. This is my go to store for most purchases. When I had a difficulty with one of my downloads being corrupted my email and one phone call were dealt with efficiently and the issue was resolved very efficiently.

You must extract the files from the zip file By George I think you've got it. Don't you you just hate when you fixed something so long ago you've forgotten what you did? Another post that needs to have the issue extracted and placed as a sticky , the helpful fixes department.
