QUOTE Andrew here are the offsets used for the video: // Track 2 $Offset: 15 0 0 $TimeOffset: 0.26 // Track 3 $Offset: 29 0 0 $TimeOffset: 0.50 // Track 4 $Offset: 47 0 0 $TimeOffset: 0.85 Cheers, those tiny increments make such a big difference in the formation performance, with one aircraft turning slightly after the other everything seems more fluid: I had to subtract some numbers off the X axis in the first offset (distance behind lead aircraft) to compensate for the time lagg, but it really works out tons better than before! Got any more recorder module...

QUOTE (Charl @ Feb 4 2008, 10:29 PM) Nice 3-wire trap... Um, SUBS I suspect you are supposed to hook up to , and use , the catapult for the off, rather than shoot across the cat tracks... you will remember that excellent post of yours, where the pilot picked up some baggage on the way B-) LMAO yeah you're the first to notice lucky there isn't any deck crew yet to get in the way. QUOTE (Trolly @ Feb 5 2008, 12:30 AM) Cool clip, reminds me very much of BF2 on the screen with nothing but a HUD to fly the aircraft :P I used the HUD only view so new pilots could see the...

Skydiving isn't modeled (yet) in FSX. The freefall bit was just camera trickery. There is a parafoil model for FS2004 which works ok in FSX (minus the textures), which I used for the scenes right at the end under canopy, although the sounds there are not default. It's a bit of a shame how the video gets compressed so much, you lose a lot of the scenery detail. Might do a "jump" over Rotorua next...

QUOTE (Alex @ Dec 9 2007, 05:37 PM) Depends, it could also beep if he had it tuned to a VOR or other navigational (radio) aid. It could be an ILS if he was tuned into an ILS frequency (but unless you can identify the morse code used there...), I'd say it was the code of a VOR or similar. ;) Alex QUOTE (deeknow @ Dec 9 2007, 10:58 PM) As Alex suggested, I guess it was the VOR freq, I'd set NAV1 to the Nelson VOR manually @ 'TSM' after turning off the radial I'd been following from 'TR' Yep :P the morse ID in the slideshow matches NS VOR's morse...

Oh dude plz dont give up , i really like your movies ,i remember that bouncing dash ,really cool idea with the default problem of that aircraft .. my movies start with just a basic idea and then i just go with the flow and make it up as i go , editing well thats just testing most of the time and alot of luck that it works sometimes .. /unsure.gif style= vertical-align:middle emoid= border= 0 alt= unsure.gif /> We need to run that comp again to bring a reason to it all ...
