Looks like you get better frames with that vs the Orbx one. I get a slideshow with my Orbx YBBN no matter what aircraft I'm in. Need more RAM.....

Thanks Connor. Looks fantastic for a freebie.
I also splashed out on ORBX YBBN and although there's no doubting its a thing of beauty, its totally unsable on my rig. Was discounted fortunately.

You may want to follow up on Anthony Lynch , plop his name into the flightsim.com search engine , plenty of great scenery addons for OZ .

Strange , All this new modern hardware with many ORBX followers , 4 plus years back , and still the frame issue , bunch of kids giving Perth the thumbsup - Sydney was even worse and still bunch of kids jumped and recon no frame hit

Hi,
Great bit of freeware, Ant is a master as making good airport scenery, without killing your
frames rates.
ORBX YBBN was the worst thing I ever bought, dropped my usual stable 20-25 FPS
to 4-6FPS..... UNACCEPTABLE !!!
This one runs smooth as... not the detail, but hey.... flight simming isnt about walking round an airport oogling
details... is it ?
Its how it looks on short final, that matters to me.
Cheers

Hate to say it but you are right there Tony. Really disappointed with Orbx YBBN. I wouldn't call my system totally bottom-end but I can barely get 10-15FPS even when I am a few k's out. I also get bad stutter with YMML, but not as bad as Brizzy. I love the Orbx products and have all their Aust and US scenery, but apart from their small strips, you need a pretty high-end rig to get acceptable frames.
I think I will uninstall the payware for the freeware, not often that happens!

Sadly I've been in the same boat, completely unusable their YBBN, as you say YMML struggles on a middling system, even when using their tuning/setup guide.
I wont be using either airport until I've upgraded my rig

Very strange , i picked up on serious F/rate issues when ORBX introduced - Gold Red Green Blue and with the city,s and airports , four years later the very same issue appears to have a fix by Ant and ORBX has decided not to tackle large airports , now who were those kids many years ago full off beans on obviously dads PC , maybe they are still in the corner eating beans .
