Hi guys,
I just did my yearly FSX re-install, and this time I made sure, that I only install stuff I need. I thought I'd give this ORBX traffic a try, so i went for it. I installed it on a "virgin" FSX, no other traffic is installed.
There are a couple of problems:
1.) I have no GA traffic whatsoever
2.) No traffic in Wellington...at all...
I do have airliner traffic in Christchurch and Auckland but no sign of GA.
I tried different weather settings, traffic settings, different times of the day, no luck. I mainly fly the SoundsAir routes, and I realized that there isn't any traffic in Nelson either...
Should I go with the GNZLAP/WOAI combo instead?
Cheers
Orbx dosen't really have much GA traffic..the best combo is GNZLAP with Orbx
If you use GNZLAP there are some programs to replace the window textures to make them clear again. Also Im not to sure if there are many flight plans for wellington in the Orbx install as I have none showing also.

You could compile your own flightplans with your own AI planes, that would take ages, just like WOAI.
I recommend just taking Skai Air Traffic (Don't worry, it's completely free and not illegal).
If you don't trust my word, stick with GNZLAP and Orbx.
I just had a closer look at my installation of FSX to find out why I also had no traffic showing in Wellington and the reason was a couple of local Ai files(ship AI) that had not properly converted to an FSX bgl. Just run a program named AI Flight Planner to search your fsx installation for any wayward fs9 Ai bgl, then convert them and make sure you manually delete the old ones.

Thanks for the help Kahu,
I ended up using the reliable WOAI/GNZLAP combo, which works perfectly. I'm not sure where to find the replacement textures though (props, windows, etc).
Cheers
