Sunday Night Ops for 9th November 2008 - Worldflight Finale: NZAA->YBBN->YSSY or NZAA->YSSY



We'll be back to flying around NZ for all the other SNO events this month, but first, this Sunday is the Worldflight Finale. After a week of non-stop travel, the World Flight convoy will be returning to Sydney, and we're supporting our sister division - VATPAC - by piling on and adding to their airspace overload!

The SNO is split into two options, depending on the time you have available:

Option One: Auckland -> Brisbane -> Sydney
This option leaves Auckland at 3:30pm NZDT and flies to Brisbane arriving around 7pm NZDT - the same time as the World Flight. We then join the caravan for its final leg, departing for Sydney at approximately 7:45pm NZDT. Estimated arrival time at Sydney is 9:15pm NZDT.

Option Two: Auckland -> Sydney
This option leaves Auckland from 6pm NZDT and flies direct to Sydney to join in the fun as the World Flight arrives at its final destination around 9:30pm NZDT.

• Priority ATC Positions:
  NZZO_FSS - Auckland Radio
  NZAA_TWR - Auckland Tower
  NZCH-A_CTR - Christchurch Control Auckland Sector
  
  Note: If you're providing ATC on the night, please give priority to these positions. They are not an exclusive list, but they are the ones that will see the most action this Sunday.
  
  To reserve a particular ATC position, book your position using vroute - large numbers of bookings in vroute attract additional traffic.
  
  
• Late-comers/Shorter Alternative: Late-comers or people looking for a shorter flight should fly Option 2, the direct Auckland to Sydney flight
