![]() !! V1.0 RELEASED Nov 16 2008 !! download from avsim.com, filename: nzai-bizjets-v1.zip Had a wee messaging exchange with Charl recently about an Air National repaint I'd done of their IAI Westwind-II for AI purposes. The biz-jets don't fit into the 5-tonne weight cutoff of the GNZLAP project so he suggested I consider a package of NZ based biz-jets. I've done a bit of digging around on the Interweb and come up with a starting list (which others have subsequently contributed to) of NZ registered or operating business/corporate Jets. NZ Registered Bizjets
If you know of any other resident jets in the country please post to the end of this thread. There are a heap of other mostly Australian and US registered machines that fly in and out fairly regularly but they're probably better delivered by the VOZ AI project. If you're interested in the machines that are based in various countries check out the LAAS Current Corporate Jet Register. To keep an eye on comings and goins here in NZ check out Mike Condon's MRC Aviation Blog A rough-but-close-enough repaint has been done of ZK-RML and if anyone else feels inclined to fire up Gimp or Photoshop and do a couple post back here to let us know so we don't get double-ups or wasted effort. I'll have a crack at one or two more shortly but am no expert on the repainting front. AI Models and Repaint Kits Here are some AI models and/or repaint kits that should be useful for the various repaints. Most of these are FS9/2004 specific models but would be interesting to know if anyone is able to run them in FSX as AI as well?
As Charl pointed out tho we probably dont want to be "tripping over them everywhere" but some legs out and back from their usual base aerodrome and maybe the odd south pacific flight would be pretty cool. Once their all done we could post a package to AVSIM, not much point in drip-feeding them one-by one just yet I dont think. cheers all. Good idea!
The list is fairly complete - except - N800DT is a Citation 1 not a Mustang - A Gulfstream G11 is quite different to a G200 - a G11 is more like a G1V - There is also Falcon 900EX based in Auckland owned by Sleepyhead - N146EX see here - there is a Global Express XRS N57LE based in Auckland owned by Rank (Graham Hart) - yes he sold his BBJ - see here -= scroll down to the bottom of page The Lass site is good but no right up to date The Lowe corp Mustang is based in Hastings, the Hawker 800 is based in Auckland and the Citation 1 is based at Ardmore -------------------- |

Those packages seem remarkably similar to the WOAI ones. I'll suck them down at home tonite and have a good look thru em. -------------------- ![]() Deans repaints: http://www.deeknow.com/ Asus P8Z68 m/b - i5/2500k @4.3GHz - EVGA-GTX560Ti - 8GB DDR3/1600 - Win7 - FSX |

Hokayy...I'll see your IAI Westwind, and raise you one Lear 35:
![]() Think to have meaning in the NZ context, it might be an idea to have these sit around in NZ quite a lot, then flit off and back. I'm not all that keen to go looking for them in Honduras -------------------- ___________________________

UGA have already done that and with flightplans. Doh!! .. thanx for reminding me. I'll do ZK-TBM the Cessna Citation Jet then. I just had a look at the Ultimate GA site and the Gulfstream IV pack is 41MB in size which seems a lot to download when you're possibly only wanting one repaint. Their download agreement is pretty specific about not redistributing any components of the pack. I wonder if it wouldnt be easier just to do another repaint of our own for it? BTW, here's a screenie of ZK-RML...
