I heard it was the tail dragger Yak. Used to belong to Kevin Jane in Hawera. He raised the gear while taxing back after landing, bent the prop and all. Then i think he sold it to a doctor in Fielding somewhere, and he ran it off the end of the runway on his first flight back.
Now this, so it hasnt had the best history. There isnt much left there now though, looks like he hit the ground with a heap of speed, botched forced landing or somehting else? [edit] YTW is the rego if it is the tailwheel yak. Only one in NZ i think -------------------- "There is an art, or rather a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss."
