Air Comet Chile (the white model).
It will be great to see another 737 200 in NZ (lets hope).
Are any new buildings going to be constructed for new aircraft?

Cheers
Daniel

I believe Air National is moving out of our hangar in Wellington, and the current hangar will be enlarged to fit the new aircraft plus offices.

From what Dad has been saying, one Jetstream will be based in Auckland, the other in Nelson.

Will be awesome to have another -200 in NZ skies! drool.gif biggrin.gif
Here's a fairly budget livery I made. Not the same as the current one, but you did mention maybe having a livery competition.

Edit so I don't clutter the thread with another post:

Funny thing is that was the idea of it, finding new ways of putting the logo on the 73, and Dad actually mentioned that we could do what Qantas do and have the logo over the whole tail, like you've done here.

I actually really like it!

Well done both you guys!
But remember the comp isn't on yet, I still haven't asked Trolly biggrin.gif

I agree the hushkit fitted to the Delta aircraft is a much tidier example. Any ideas as to the manufacturer of the kits?

The one fitted to NQC is (or was) made by Nordam, not sure about the Delta ones. See here..

Also here is an explanation as to why the thrust reversers are on a 35 degree angle:
QUOTE
The doors are set 35 degrees away from the vertical to allow the exhaust to be deflected inboard and over the wings and outboard and under the wings. This ensures that exhaust and debris is not blown into the wheel-well, nor is it blown directly downwards which would lift the weight off the wheels or be re-ingested.
